Who are we?
Filthy Casuals with Tommy Dassalo and Ben Vernel is a comedy podcast that launched in September of 2015. The hosts saw a gap in the market for an Australian comedy podcast that took a casual look at video games. Since then the show has become massively popular, with millions of downloads and appearances at PAX AUS and countless sold-out live shows around Australia.
Tommy Dassalo
Tommy Dassalo is a TV writer, stand up comedian and podcast host. As well as hosting Filthy Casuals, Dassalo co-hosts successful comedy podcast The Little Dum Dum Club. Dassalo also works as an illustrator and cartoonist and has presented multiple exhibitions of his work.
Ben Vernel
Ben Vernel is a writer, designer, comedian and podcast host. Ben has run successful live comedy rooms and produced hit lcomedy shows, and was part of comedy group Chimp Cop. Ben previously hosted Arya Talking To Me? – a Game of Thrones podcast that was featured on Buzzfeed and Vulture.com.
